We are a premium dog hotel on a cosy farm in Hollands-Kroon, where dogs spend their days running outside, playing with doggy friends, and being cared for by a loving, experienced, hands-on team of dog lovers

Our Story

DoggyDogFarm came to life in 2021. Our founder, Keldt, has always had a soft spot for dogs and loves caring for them. During his studies, a friend of his started walking dogs. Every now and then, Keldt would help out and take the dogs for their walks, too.

What started as simply helping a friend quickly became something more. As he walked the dogs more often, owners began to ask a new question:

“Would it be possible for our dog to stay with you?”

So, Keldt brought the first holiday guests to his parents' farm in Hollands-Kroon – and the rest grew from there. Word spread, more dogs came to stay, and DoggyDogFarm slowly turned into a proper dog hotel: a place built entirely around what dogs truly need.

From the beginning, the vision was simple: create a place where doggies can really be doggies. A place where they can run freely in nature, play, explore, and make friends. Just as important, Keldt wanted every dog to be seen as an individual - with their own personality, needs, and boundaries, and to be cared for with patience.

Over the years, Keldt has learned how to truly read dogs: their body language, their comfort levels, and what helps them feel safe and happy. That experience is now at the heart of DoggyDogFarm. Today, dogs enjoy their days primarily outdoors, frolicking in fields, discovering nature, and socialising with fellow pups.

Our dedicated team consists of experienced, dog-obsessed professionals (& certified with the Competence Certificate for Holders of Dogs and Cats) who are highly service-oriented, hands-on, and attentive. Together, we make sure every dog receives the attention, love, and care they genuinely deserve.

Freedom in Nature

Most of our guests roam together as one happy pack, running and playing in over 3,000 m² of safely fenced fields, with quieter spaces for shy or sensitive doggies.

Every Dog Is an Individual

No two doggies are the same. We adapt play, rest and daily routine to each dog’s personality, energy and boundaries so they feel comfortable and truly seen.

Gentle, Positive Care

We handle every dog with calm voices, patience, and gentle guidance. Clear routines help them feel safe and relaxed, and if a dog gets overwhelmed, we adjust and give them extra support.

Safe & Professional Care

Our experienced, hands-on team splits the dogs in two big packs: the main pack and a calmer group for dogs who need a gentler pace, keeping a close eye on every dog’s well-being and sharing their farm holidays on Instagram.

Is DoggyDogFarm the Right Fit for Your Dog?

At DoggyDogFarm, every breed and every life stage is welcome - from bouncy puppies to steady adults and wise seniors, from social butterflies to doggies who are still learning to feel comfortable around others.

We’re a great match for doggies who:

need a safe, homely place to stay while their owners are away
come for daycare to socialise more, move more, and spend a full day outside having fun
are puppies who can benefit from learning how to be around other dogs in a guided, safe way
haven’t had much socialisation yet but are manageable in their behaviour and open to other dogs.

Most guests enjoy being part of our main pack outside, while shy or sensitive doggies can join our calmer group and enjoy a quieter time.

We do our best to welcome as many dogs as possible, but doggies who show serious aggression or can’t safely be in a group are unfortunately not the right fit for our hotel.
